1. Important announcement: Your student Google account will be moving to Microsoft 365 (emailed 27th October 2021)
Dearest Tabor Students,
During the Summer of 2021/22, there will be a major migration where we will be moving you from the Google environment to Microsoft 365
What does
this mean for you?
In short, you are currently using Gmail for your student email. At the conclusion of this change, you will be using Microsoft Outlook instead. Also, imagine having a more seamless experience logging into all the Tabor systems you use. Yes, that will be happening too!
Do you have an alternative for Google Drive?
Yes, we do. You will be able to use OneDrive, which is Microsoft's cloud storage solution.
Does this mean that I will have a licence to use the Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)?
100%! We want our Tabor students to have access to the software you use every day for your studies, where you’ll be able to create/edit/share files, collaborate and communicate more seamless than ever before.
More details of the migration will be released weekly till the changeover occurs so please stay tuned via email for upcoming migration dates and important information.
