I am married to Wendy and have two sons, Simeon and Ben. I currently live in Melbourne where I lead a multicultural church on mission in our community. I have lectured part-time in Intercultural Studies and Mission at Whitley College, Melbourne (6 years) and at Tabor College, Adelaide (1 year). Prior to that I worked as an intercultural worker with Baptist Mission Australia in Malawi for 24 years. My roles included: gospel planter, language and culture consultant - helping to facilitate colleagues to grow their culture and language understanding and capacity and being senior editor in the Ciyawo-English Dictionary project in Malawi.
