    • Suicide and Self harm

If you are struggling with self-harm or suicidal thoughts and feelings, reaching out for support and getting treatment will aid your steps toward recovery. Beyond Blue website provides information on suicide for people feeling suicidal, worried about someone who is suicidal, or people who have attempted suicide, or grieving a death by suicide. If you are in an emergency, or at immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, please contact emergency services on 000 or visit Beyond Blue Get support now page for other services.

Developing a safety plan to share with friends and/or a counsellor, can help provide support and accountability during hard times. A safety plan is something that is designed for the individual and is a clear ‘roadmap’ for the support you need.

Beyond Blue have an app that can be used to design a safety plan.

Here’s a testimonial of someone who used a Beyond Blue Safety Plan and how it saved their life.
