    HSW190.8 Surviving Creativity

Writers, musicians, visual artists, designers, teachers, performers, preachers, and many more, all have a role to play that demands they strive creatively. But what does that actually mean? What is creativity? How do we become more creative? What stops us being creative? And how do those with a creative call balance their unique needs and aspirations with the demands of everyday life? In this subject, students explore human creativity from a range of theoretical perspectives (spiritual, philosophical and scientific) in order to discover how their creative soul has been wired to work, and to develop skills and techniques to thrive within their creative calling.
